After 15 remarkable years as regional chairman and CEO of Leo Burnett Greater China, Eddie Booth is retiring at the end of the year. With Eddie’s departure, Jarek Ziebinski, currently president of the Asia-Pacific region, will oversee Leo Burnett’s Asia Pacific and Greater China operations in a move to bring together under one proven leader the best of the network’s resources, talents and capabilities across these two important regions.
Elevated Creative at Leo Burnett India
Executive Creative Director Sainath Saraban has been promoted to National Creative Director of Leo Burnett India. In his new role, Sai oversees the creative output from the Chennai office and manages key national clients, including Casa Grande, Dalmia Cement, Saint-Gobain and Amrutanjan.
Key Appointment in London
Leo Burnett London has named Katie Lee managing director. Katie has been at Burnett for the last seven years, most recently heading up business development and communications as marketing director across the Leo Burnett Group.
New MD in Sydney
Pete Bosilkovski has been promoted to managing director of Leo Burnett Sydney from his role as client services director, a title he has held since joining the agency in 2009. Most recently, Pete was instrumental in launching The Nest, the industry's first paid marketing and advertising internship program spanning both the Leo Burnett Sydney and Diageo businesses.
Renetta McCann Awarded for Diversity Efforts
Recently Renetta McCann, Chief Talent Officer for the U.S., was honored with the Pantheon Award from the American Association of Advertising Agencies. The Pantheon Award is given to a transformational leader who is highly regarded as a cultivator, supporter and champion of multicultural talent and a key driver in propelling the advertising and media industry forward in the areas of diversity and inclusion.

Executive Creative Director Becky Swanson from Chicago was number three on Business Insider's list of “Most Creative Women in Advertising.” Here is what they had to say about her:
“Becky Swanson was part of a global team that this year launched the Always ‘Like A Girl’ video, which gained 30 million YouTube views in less than two weeks. The campaign honed in on the fact that young girls often experience a big loss of confidence when they go through puberty. This ad, which now has nearly 47 million views online, worked to change the stereotype of what it means to do something ‘like a girl.’ In her 30 years with Leo Burnett, she has worked on many award-winning campaigns, from Tampax’s ‘Zach Johnson’ spot, which won over 40 industry awards, to Secret’s ‘Mean Stinks’ campaign.”

Juliana Ardila, an art director at Leo Burnett Dubai, had the prestigious honor of being selected for the See It Be It program at Cannes that aims to further women in the creative industry. Juliana was one of 12 women treated to a guided tour of the jury rooms, meet-and-greets with VIP speakers, dedicated sessions by industry leaders and the Berlin School of Creative Leadership, and a mentorship event supported by SheSays.
